Hall of Heroes

The Hall of Heroes honors Madison County veterans who have demonstrated extraordinary valor and service to our nation and community.

Each year, we carefully review nominations and military records to select new inductees, culminating in a public ceremony during Veterans Week. Inductees are recognized with Challenge Coins, their stories are shared, and they are celebrated alongside their families and fellow veterans.

Beyond the ceremony, our mission includes preserving military heritage and educating future generations. Programs like the Price of Freedom Project bring veterans and students together, fostering appreciation for the courage and sacrifices that protect our freedoms. We invite you to learn more, view our current inductees, and consider nominating a deserving veteran for this special honor.

Three Ways to Nominate a Veteran for the Hall of Heroes

Nominating a veteran for the Hall of Heroes is different from submitting or updating service records. To be eligible, nominees must have served honorably and demonstrated extraordinary valor or service to the nation or community.
